It is forbidden to employ children under the age of fifteen. However, children who have completed the age of fourteen and have completed the compulsory primary education; to continue their physical, mental, social and moral development and education.

They can be employed in light jobs that will not prevent those who have to attend school. Children who have not completed the age of fourteen are enrolled in arts, culture and advertising activities that will not prevent their physical, mental, social and moral development and the attendance of those who continue their education to school.

They can be employed on condition that they make a contract and obtain a separate permit for each activity.

Safety, health, physical, mental and psychological developments, personal dispositions and abilities are taken into account in the placement of children and young workers and in the jobs where they can be employed. The job of the child cannot prevent him from going to school, continuing his professional education, and cannot harm him to follow his lessons regularly.

Jobs that are prohibited for children and young workers under the age of eighteen, jobs that are allowed to work for young workers who have completed the age of fifteen but not completed the age of eighteen, light jobs where children who have completed the age of fourteen and have completed compulsory primary education can be employed, what kind of jobs they can be employed in and their working conditions are determined by a regulation to be issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security within six months.

Working hours of children who have completed compulsory primary education and do not attend formal education cannot be more than seven hours a day and thirty-five hours a week, and those who work in arts, culture and advertising activities cannot exceed five hours a day and thirty hours a week. This period can be increased up to eight hours a day and forty hours a week for children who have completed the age of fifteen.

Working hours of preschool children and children attending school during the education period can be at most two hours a day and ten hours a week, out of educational hours. Working hours during the periods when the school is closed are the periods stipulated in the fourth paragraph above.
