In 2023, 4 million 695 thousand persons were employed in agriculture, 6 million 711 thousand persons were employed in industry, 1 million 997 thousand persons were employed in construction and 18 million 230 thousand persons were employed in services. Compared with previous year, the number of employed in agriculture decreased 171 thousand persons, while industry increased 48 thousand persons, construction increased 151 thousand persons and services increased 852 thousand persons.
