Milk and Milk Products, March 2020 in Turkey
The amount of collected cow’s milk in March increased by 4.7% when compared to the same month of the previous year. In January-March period increased by 6.3% when compared to the same period of the previous year.
In March, the average fat rate of cow’s milk collected by integrated dairies was 3.5%, the average rate of protein was 3.2%.

In March, whole milk powder production increasing 40.3%, cheese production from cow’s milk increasing by 12.2% and butter production increasing by 1.2%. Cream production decreasing 5.4%, mixed milk cheese (cheese production obtained from which includes sheep, goat, buffalo and mixed milk) decreasing by 14.8%, drink made of yoghurt (ayran) production decreasing by 25% and skimmed milk powder production decreasing by 27.6% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
