Marketable production of solid fuels was 81 thousand 93 tonnes for hard coal, 6 million 897 thousand 492 tonnes for lignite(1) and 360 thousand 405 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal in April 2018. For the same month, deliveries(2) were 2 million 392 thousand 464 tonnes for hard coal, 6 million 473 thousand 677 tonnes for lignite and 421 thousand 865 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal.
The lowest ratio of production to deliveries was in the hard coal
The lowest ratio(3) of marketable production to deliveries was in hard coal by 3.4%. This ratio was 85.4% for coke derived from hard coal and 106.5% for lignite.

Hard coal and lignite were delivered mostly to the thermal power plants
Distribution of solid fuels according to breakdown of main delivery places was 51.5% to thermal power plants, 19.7% to coking plants, 8.2% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for hard coal whereas, 89.5% to thermal power plants, 6.2% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for lignite and 96.8% to iron and steel industry for coke derived from hard coal.
