Services Producer Price Index, January 2020 in Turkey
Services producer price index (S-PPI) increased by 12.29% annually and 2.90% monthly
S-PPI (2017=100) increased by 2.90% monthly, by 2.90% on December of the previous year, by 12.29% on same month of the previous year and by 15.26% on the twelve months moving averages basis in January 2020.

Transportation and storage services increased by 12.95% annually
The indices increased by 12.95% for transportation and storage services, by 15.19% for accommodation and food services, by 5.21% for information and communication services, by 16.32% for real estate services, by 11.94% for professional, scientific and technical services, by 12.14% for administrative and support services compared with the previous year.

Transportation and storage services increased by 2.72% monthly
The indices increased by 2.72% for transportation and storage services, by 2.70% for accommodation and food services, by 0.76% for information and communication services, by 3.09% for real estate services, by 3.90% for professional, scientific and technical services, by 4.52% for administrative and support services compared with the previous month.

The lowest annual increase was in telecommunications services by 0.18%
The lowest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for telecommunications services by 0.18%, for advertising and market research services by 7.27%, for veterinary services by 7.32%. On the other hand the highest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for postal and courier services by 20.97%, for scientific research and development services by 18.79%, for accommodation services by 18.54%.

The highest monthly decrease was in programming and broadcasting services by 15.40%
The highest rates of monthly decrease in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for programming and broadcasting services by 15.40%, for advertising and market research services by 2.31%, for publishing services by 0.13%. On the other hand the highest rates of monthly increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for legal and accounting services by 12.28%, for services to buildings and landscape by 9.23%, for employment services by 8.63%.
