Sectoral Confidence Indices, June 2019
Retail trade confidence index realized as 93.2
Seasonally adjusted retail trade confidence index increased by 3.7% in June to 93.2. In retail trade sector; business activity-sales and business activity-sales expectation indices increased by 12% and 4.2% respectively compared to the previous month to 82.1 and 91.3. However current volume of stock index decreased by 2.4% to 106.3.

Construction confidence index realized as 50.4
Seasonally adjusted construction confidence index which was 49.8 in previous month increased by 1.3% in June to 50.4. In construction sector; total employment expectation index increased by 3.9% compared to the previous month to 63.6. However current overall order books index decreased by 2.8% to 37.3.

EXPLANATIONS
Sectoral confidence indices can take value between 0 and 200. It indicates an optimistic outlook when the index is above 100, but it indicates a pessimistic outlook when it is below 100.
