In March, 58 708 road motor vehicle registrations were recorded
Within 58 thousand 708 vehicle registrations in March, cars accounted for 55.7%, followed by motorcycles 23.7%, small trucks 12.9% and tractors 4%. Minibuses, buses, trucks and special purpose vehicles constituted 3.7% of new registrations.
The number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 72.5% compared with the previous month
In March, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 72.5% compared with the previous month. Cars, minibuses, buses, small trucks, trucks, motorcycles and tractors increased by 77.2%, 30%, 14.7%, 71.7%, 22.9%, 80.4% and 49.1% respectively. Special purpose vehicles decreased by 30.2%.
The number of road motor vehicles registered decreased by 37.9% compared with the same month of the previous year
In March, the number of road motor vehicle registrations decreased by 37.9% compared with the same month of the previous year. Cars, minibuses, buses, small trucks, trucks, motorcycles, special purpose vehicles and tractors decreased by 41%, 30.5%, 45.3%, 45.7%, 62.6%, 4%, 53.3% and 62.6% respectively.
In the period of January-March, the total number of road motor vehicles in traffic increased by 106.631
While 52 thousand 588 road motor vehicles were withdrawn, 159 thousand 219 road motor vehicles were added in January-March period. Hence, the total number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 106 thousand 631.
643.356 road motor vehicles handed over in March
Among 643 thousand 356 vehicles handed over(1), cars accounted for 71% followed by small trucks 16.1%, motorcycles 4.7% and tractors 3.2%. Minibuses, buses, trucks and special purpose vehicles constituted 5% of the handed over motor vehicles in March.
The ratio of cars registered using LPG was 37.8%
At the end of March, among 12 million 457 thousand 676 registered cars, the share of LPG-fuelled cars was 37.8% followed by diesel-fuelled cars with 37.1% and gasoline-fuelled cars with 24.8%. The share of electric or hybrid cars is 0.1% and the cars with unknown(2) fuel type was 0.3%.
In March, 32.713 cars were registered to the traffic
In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the 32 thousand 713 new registered cars in March, Renault recorded 16.1%, Fiat 12.3%, Volkswagen 11%, Hyundai 6.5%, Honda 6.2%, Toyota 6.2%, Opel 5.3%, Peugeot 4.3%, Dacia 4%, Mercedes-Benz 3.7% and the other trademarks 24.5% of the total.
Most frequent engine size was 1501-1600 for registered cars
Within 95 thousand 583 cars registered to traffic in January-March period, 39.5% of them had engine size 1501-1600, 26% had 1401-1500, 17.5% had 1301-1400, 10.8% had 1300 or less, 5.1% had 1601-2000, 1% had 2001 and above engine size.
Most frequent colour was white for registered cars
Within 95 thousand 583 cars registered to traffic in January-March period, 53.2% of them were white, 23.7% were grey, 7.4% were black, 5.7% were red and 10% were in other colours.
