The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in July 2022 decreased by -3.4% (115 units) compared to July 2021 (3,372 units) and reached 3,257 units.​

Of the 3,257 capacity reports approved in July, 851 were in İstanbul, 223 in İzmir, 209 in Ankara, 166 in Bursa, 131 in Konya, 122 in Kocaeli, 117 in Gaziantep, 93 in Tekirdağ, 87 in Manisa and 76 in Kayseri.

While the total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database was 81,449 in July 2021, it reached 92,058 units in July 2022 with an increase of 13% (10,609 units).

According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 10.5% (355,468 units) from 3,398,452 in July 2021 to 3,753,920 in July 2022.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
