Non-Domestic Producer Price Index, April 2018

Non-domestic producer price index increased by 4%Non-domestic producer price index (ND-PPI), which measures the change in the price of goods manufactured in the country and exported in a reference period, increased by 4% on monthly basis, increased by 8.56% on December of the previous year basis, increased by 21.72% on same month of the previous year basis and increased by 20.81% on the twelve months moving averages basis in April 2018.

ND-PPI monthly increased by 4.44% in the index for mining and stone quarrying and increased by 3.99% in the index for manufacturing.

The highest monthly increase was in coke and refined petroleum products

The highest rates of monthly increase by sub divisions of industry were indices for coke and refined petroleum products by 9.54%, for other manufactured goods by 6.77%, and for other mining and quarrying products by 5.65%.

The highest monthly increase in main industrial groupings was in energy goods

According to main industrial groupings classification, the highest rate of monthly increases and the highest rate of annual increases were in energy goods in April 2018.
