The new minimum wage was announced as NET 11,402.32 TL per month. The new Minimum Wage will be effective from 1 July 2023. The GROSS Minimum Wage will be 13,414.50 TL and the cost to the employer will be 15,762.04 TL (with a 5 point SSI discount)
CURRENT MINIMUM WAGE AND COST TO EMPLOYER
For the month of 2023-June, the previous minimum wage will apply. Minimum wage is applied as GROSS 10,008 TL and NET 8,506,80 TL per month for an employee. The cost of the current minimum wage to the employer is 11,759.40 TL
MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE RATE
The rate of increase in the minimum wage was 34%.
MONTHLY SUPPORT TO THE EMPLOYER
The support provided to the employer for the minimum wage is also increased from 400 TL to 500 TL.
COST OF THE NEW MINIMUM WAGE TO THE EMPLOYER
The cost of the minimum wage to the employer is 15,762.04 TL
NET AND GROSS OF MINIMUM WAGE
The NET of the monthly minimum wage is 11,402.32 TL and its GROSS is 13,414.50 TL.
