The amount of collected cow’s milk in March decreased by 8.6% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
Drinking milk production by integrated dairies became 131 thousand 961 tonnes in March and decreased by 18.5% when compared to the same month of the previous year. Cheese production from cow’s milk was 58 thousand 5 tonnes and decreased by 10.2% when compared to the same month of the previous year. Cheese production from sheep, goat, buffalo and mixed milk was 3 thousand 125 tonnes increased by 0.1% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
Yoghurt production became 99 thousand 11 tonnes in March and decreased by 1.5% when compared to same month of the previous year. Drink made of yoghurt production became 62 thousand 148 tonnes and decreased by 2.3% when compared to the same month of the previous year.
In March the average fat rate of cow’s milk collected by integrated dairies was 3.5%, the average rate of protein was 3.1%.
