In September 2024, against August, prices for the total industrial production sold in Lithuania decreased by 1 per cent, refined petroleum products excluded – increased by 0.3 per cent. The overall price change was mainly influenced by decrease in prices for refined petroleum products (8 per cent), as well as by an increase in prices for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (2.6 per cent).

Over the month, prices for industrial production sold on the Lithuanian market decreased by 0.1 per cent, refined petroleum products excluded – increased by 0.9 per cent. The most significant decrease in prices was recorded for crude petroleum – 8.8 per cent. The highest rise in prices was recorded for printing and reproduction services of recorded media – 4.7 per cent. Prices for food products increased by 0.9 per cent. Prices for condiments and seasonings increased by 8.3 per cent, dairy and cheese products – 5.1 per cent, meat and poultry meat products – 4.1 per cent, while processed and preserved fruit and vegetables went down in price by 7.4 per cent, sugar – 6.6 per cent, ice-cream – 6.5 per cent.

Over the month, prices for industrial production sold on the non-Lithuanian market decreased by 1.7 per cent, refined petroleum products excluded – by 0.3 per cent.

Over the month, prices for industrial production sold on the euro area market decreased by 1.6 per cent, on the non-euro area market – 1.8 per cent.
