In II quarter 2023, country’s gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to EUR 17.7 billion at current prices in Lithuania. The estimate was obtained through application of econometric models based on available statistical data. Compared to I quarter 2023, the real GDP change, seasonally and calendar adjusted, was positive and stood at 2.8 per cent.

As for GDP estimated by production approach, in II quarter 2023, the largest positive influence on the change in GDP was made by performance results of enterprises engaged in construction, transportation and storage, information and communication activities.

In II quarter 2023, compared to corresponding quarter of 2022, the real GDP change, seasonally and calendar unadjusted, was positive and stood at 0.6 per cent, seasonally and calendar adjusted – at 0.9 per cent as well.

In II quarter 2023, compared to I quarter 2023, the real GDP change, seasonally and calendar unadjusted, was positive and stood at 6.6 per cent.

In I half-year 2023, GDP amounted to EUR 33.7 billion at current prices. Compared to I half‑year 2022, the real change in GDP, seasonally and calendar adjusted, was negative and stood at ‑0.9 per cent (unadjusted – ‑0.9 per cent).
