According to preliminary estimates and the most recent data from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, industrial production in Hungary declined for the sixth consecutive month in June.
In June, the amount of industrial production decreased 3.8 percent more slowly than it had the month before—a decline of 6.7 percent.
The bulk of manufacturing divisions saw a decrease in production, although the greatest weight-carrying division of transport equipment and electrical equipment saw increases, according to the agency.
According to estimates, industrial production fell 0.9 percent on a monthly basis in June after rising by 1.8 percent the month before.
Industrial output fell by 6.1 percent yearly in June compared to a 4.5 percent decline a month earlier on a working-day adjusted basis.
