In January-March 2023 industrial products at 18,6 billion manats or 3,2% less compared to the corresponding period of 2022 were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. The product output in oil-gas sector decreased by 4,0%, while in non-oil and gas sector it increased by 4,7 percent.
72,0% of industrial products were produced in mining sector, 21,5% in manufacturing sector, 4,7% in production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0,7% in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.
Marketable oil production in mining sector decreased by 7,4%, while marketable gas production increased by 1,1%.
Production of automobile, trailers and semi-trailers by 2,1 times, production of wood manufacturing and production of wood products by 78%, pharmaceutical products by 68,8 %, polygraphy products by 57,1%, paper and cardboard by 44,4%, computer, electronic and optical products by 35,7%, textile industry products by 28,0%, construction materials 25,8%, machine and equipment by 25,4%, production of beverage by 25,1%, rubber and plastic products by 16,9%, production of food products by 13,6%, electrical equipment by 8,7%, leather and leather products and shoes in manufacturing sector increased by 8,2 %, tobacco products by 17,3%, production of furniture by 1,0%, production of oil products by 0,5% increased, while production of other vehicles by 0,4%, production of clothes by 1,1%, finished metal products by 1,3%, chemical industrial products by 17,2 percent, chemical industrial products by 11,2%, metallurgical industrial products by 44,2%, installation and maintenance activities of machine and equipment by 46,1% decreased.
Production volume in the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply increased by 6,1%, while in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities it increased by 21,8%.
