Regarding the vehicle registrations in January, cars accounted for 69.8%, followed by small trucks 16.4%, motorcycles 6.7%, tractors 3.0%, trucks 1.9%, minibus 1.2%, bus 0.7% and special purpose vehicles 0.3%.
The number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 48.8% compared with the previous month
In January, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 134.8%, 98.9%, 87.2%, 58.0%, 30.6% and 24.6% for special purpose vehicles, small trucks, trucks, cars, buses and minibuses respectively while it decreased by 32.0% and 13.9% for tractors and motorcycles.
The number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 42.2% compared with the same month of the previous year
In January, compared with the same month of the previous year, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 138.3%, 85.9%, 48.6%, 45.0%, 33.1%, 26.3%, 7.6% and 5.7% for special purpose vehicles, tractors, cars, minibuses, small trucks, trucks, buses and motorcycles.
At the end of January, the total number of road motor vehicles registered reached 23 million 245 thousand 409
At the end of January, cars represented 54.1%, small trucks 16.4%, motorcycles 14.4%, tractors 8.2%, trucks 3.6%, minibuses 2.1%, buses 0.9% and special purpose vehicles 0.3% of total number of road motor vehicles registered.
856 thousand 697 road motor vehicles handed over in January
Among vehicles handed over(1) in January, cars accounted for 73.4% followed by small trucks 16.3%, tractors 3.0%, motorcycles 2.8%, minibuses 1.9%, trucks 1.9%, buses 0.6% and special purpose vehicles 0.1%.
In January, 66 thousand 1 cars were registered to the traffic
In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the new registered cars in January, Fiat recorded 18.4%, 16.8% Renault Dacia 9.2%, Volkswagen 9.0%, Peugeot 6.1%, Toyota 5.2%, Hyundai 4.7%, Opel 4.0%, Honda 4.0%, Ford %3.8, Skoda 3.4%, Citroen 2.5%, Nissan 2.0%, BMW 1.9%, Kia %1.3 and the other trademarks 7.7% of the total.
In January total road motor vehicles in traffic increased by 89 thousand 307
In January, compared to the same period of previous year, the number of registered vehicles increased by 42.2% and became 94 thousand 540 while the number of withdrawn road motor vehicles decreased by 48.9% and became 5 thousand 233. Hence, the increase in motor vehicles registered became 89 thousand 307.
In January the ratio of cars registered using diesel was 45.8%
Among 66 thousand 1 cars registered in January, the share of diesel-fuelled cars was 45.8% followed by gasoline-fuelled cars with 43.9%, LPG-fuelled cars with 8.1% and electric or hybrid cars with 2.2%. At the end of January, among 12 million 567 thousand 543 registered cars, the share of diesel-fuelled cars was 38.2% followed by LPG-fuelled cars with 37.2% and gasoline-fuelled cars with 24.2%. The share of electric or hybrid cars was 0.1% and the cars with unknown(2) fuel type was 0.3%.
Most frequent engine size was 1501-1600 for registered cars in January
Within 66 thousand 1 cars registered to traffic in January, 28.6% of them had engine size 1501-1600, 28.2% had 1401-1500, 22.0% had 1300 or less, 16.3% had 1301-1400, 3.9% had 1601-2000, 1.0% had 2001 and above.
In January 36 thousand 846 of cars registered were white
Within 66 thousand 1 cars registered to traffic in January, 55.8% of them were white, 22.4% were grey, 6.6% were red, 5.4% were black, 5.4% were blue and 4.4% were in other colours.
