Chicken meat production was 168 thousand 7 tonnes, hen egg production was 1.7 billion units
Turkey meat production increased by 7.2%, hen egg production increased by 1.2%, chicken meat production decreased by 3.7%, and number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 5.4% in November compared with the same month of the previous year. Hen egg production increased by 1.3%, chicken meat production decreased by 1.6%, number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 2.4%, and turkey meat production decreased by 15.6% in January-November period compared with the same period of the previous year.
According to the seasonally and calendar adjusted series; chicken meat production decreased by 1.5% compared with the previous month. According to the calendar adjusted series chicken meat production decreased by 1% compared with the same month of the previous year.
