EDP Renewables has put into operation the largest solar power plant in Europe to date, Naked-Science reports.
An energy infrastructure project called Cerca has emerged near Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.
Cerca is equipped with more than 310 thousand double-sided solar panels. Its capacity is 202 megawatts, and the plant is able to provide electricity to approximately 100 thousand households
