In April 2024, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 654 932, out of which 768 354 were women. Compared to March 2024, the total number of persons in employment increased by 0.5% and the number of employed women by 0.6%.
Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in April 2024 by 1.2% and the number of employed women by 0.8%. In the period from January to April 2024, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased by 1.4% and the number of employed women by 0.9%.
The total number of unemployed persons decreased by 9.4% and the number of unemployed women by 10.7% in April 2024, as compared to March 2024. The total registered unemployment rate in April 2024 was 5.6% and for women it was 6.8%.
