The highest monthly increase was in coke and refined petroleum products
The highest rates of monthly increase in D-PPI by sub divisions of industry were index for coke and refined petroleum products by 25.11%, for metal ores by 15.33%, for basic metals by 12.07%. On the other hand electricity and gas decreased by 1.20% compared with the previous month.
The highest monthly increase in main industrial groupings was in intermediate goods
According to main industrial groupings classification in August 2018, the highest rate of monthly increases was in intermediate goods and the highest rate of annual increases was in energy.
