D-PPI increased by 3.45% for mining and stone quarrying, by 2.86% for manufacturing, by 4.96% for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning, by 0.36% for water supply compared with the previous month.

The highest monthly increase was in crude petroleum and natural gas
The highest rates of monthly increase in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were index for crude petroleum and natural gas by 17.12%, for tobacco products by 8.83%, for coke and refined petroleum products by 7.40%. On the other hand monthly decreases in D-PPI by sub divisions of industry were beverages by 0.86%, for wood and products of wood and cork, except furniture by 0.29%.

According to main industrial groupings classification in April 2019, the highest rates of monthly and annual increases were in energy.
