The registered unemployment rate in Croatia reached 4.8%
In July 2024, the total number of persons in employment in the Republic of Croatia was 1 739 690, out of which 809 891 were women. Compared to June 2024, both the total number of persons in employment and the number of employed women increased by 1.0%.
Compared to the same month of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased in July 2024 by 2.1% and the number of employed women by 1.8%.
In the period from January to July 2024, as compared to the same period of the previous year, the total number of persons in employment increased by 1.7% and the number of employed women by 1.2%.
The total number of unemployed persons increased by 3.5% and the number of unemployed women by 5.1% in July 2024, as compared to June 2024. The total registered unemployment rate in July 2024 was 4.8% and for women it was 5.8%.
