The latest Consumer Survey conducted by Bank Indonesia in September 2023 indicates that consumer confidence in economic conditions remains solid, as reflected by a Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) maintained in the optimistic zone (>100) with a reading of 121.7.

Consumer confidence was maintained in September 2023 on the back of an optimistic Current Economic Condition Index (CECI) and Consumer Expectation Index (CEI). The CECI index was supported by optimism in all component indexes, particularly the Current Income Index.  Meanwhile, the CEI remained solid, primarily in terms of the Income Expectation Index.
