Business sentiment improves further

Business sentiment in Slovenia improved for the second consecutive month in September, after it had deteriorated for the first seven months of the year. It stood at -5.4 percentage points, which is up by 0.6 points on the month before but still 0.4 points lower than a year ago.

The monthly gain was driven by improved indicators in services and among consumers, which rose by 0.3 and 0.2 points, respectively.

The manufacturing indicator was flat and the retail indicator slipped by 0.2 points.

At the annual level only the consumer sentiment grew.
