According to the Bulgarian Employment Agency, the record-low unemployment rate of 4.2 percent for the month of July and the percentage for June remained the same. The registration of Ukrainian refugees with the status of temporary protection was primarily responsible for the minor increase of 416 people in those who had already registered with the labor offices.
At the end of the summer, there are over 11,000 announced openings in the primary labor market, with the processing sector accounting for 25% of those openings. Additionally, there is a need for labor in the state administration, as well as in trade, education, hotels, and restaurants.
