Average gross salaries and wages in Serbia calculated for April 2022 amounted to 100 727 RSD, while average net salaries and wages amounted to 73 012 RSD.
Increase of gross salaries and wages in the period January–April 2022, relative to the same period last year amounted to 13.2% in nominal terms, i.e. 3.9% in real terms. Simultaneously, net salaries and wages increased by 13.1% in nominal terms and by 3.9% in real terms.
Compared to the same month last year, average gross and net salaries and wages for April 2022 increased by 12.4% in nominal terms and by 2.6% in real terms.
Median net salaries and wages for April 2022 amounted to 55 267 RSD, meaning that 50% of employees realised wages and salaries up to the mentioned amount.
