Agricultural Input Price Index, January 2020 in Turkey
Agricultural Input Price Index (Agricultural-IPI) increased by 8.99% annually and 1.10% monthlyAgriculture-PPI (2015=100) increased by 1.10% compared to previous month, increased by 1.10% compared to December of the previous year, by 8.99% compared to same month of the previous year and increased by 14.36% compared to twelve month averages, in January 2020.
In detail of main groups, goods and services currently consumed in agriculture index increased by 0.83%; goods and services contributing to agricultural investment index increased by 2.82% compared to the previous month. The goods and services currently consumed in agricultural index increased by 8.96% and goods and services contributing to agricultural investment index increased by 9.19% compared to same month of the previous year.

The highest annual decrease was realized 2.68% for fertilizer and soil improvers subgroup
The veterinary expenses and the plant protection and pesticides had lowest annual increase with 0.60% and 0.65% respectively, compared to same month of the previous year. The highest increase had realized for materials with 9.58%, energy and lubricants with 13.56% and seeds and planting stock with 15.82% compared to same month of the previous year.

The highest monthly decrease was 1.84% for fertilizer and soil improvers subgroup
The other group that indicated high monthly decrease was plant protection and pesticides with 0.24% compared to previous month. The lowest increase in January 2020 was realized for veterinary expenses with 0.17% and energy and lubricants with 0.52% compared to previous month. On the other hand, the highest monthly increase was realized for animal feeding stuffs with 1.35%, seeds and planting stock with 1.45% and materials with 2.13%.
