Maximum production and delivery were in ligniteMarketable production of solid fuels was 96 thousand 79 tonnes for hard coal, 5 million 546 thousand 997 tonnes for lignite(1) and 339 thousand 104 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal in February 2019. For the same month, deliveries(2) were 3 million 100 thousand 922 tonnes for hard coal, 5 million 732 thousand 565 tonnes for lignite and 423 thousand 256 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal.
The lowest ratio of production to deliveries was in hard coal
The lowest ratio(3) of marketable production to deliveries was in hard coal by 3.1%. This ratio was 80.1% for coke derived from hard coal and 96.8% for lignite.

Hard coal and lignite were delivered mostly to the thermal power plants
Distribution of solid fuels according to breakdown of main delivery places was 61.8% to thermal power plants, 18.4% to coking plants, 5% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for hard coal whereas, 88.4% to thermal power plants, 7.7% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for lignite and 96.1% to iron and steel industry for coke derived from hard coal.
