Turkey managed to post the highest manufacturing PMI Export Climate Index of the last 12 months in July 2020 thanks to an easing of restrictions and a sharply pick up in some of the European countries.
ICI Turkey Export Climate Index report released by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) has unfolded Turkey’s latest figures, according to which the index increased to 53.0 in July, while June figures saw 47.5 points. It has been the first time Turkey surmounted the 50.0-benchmark level during the last five months.
“Most of the top ten destinations of Turkey’s manufacturing exports registered growth in July as economies continued to show signs of recovery following severe COVID-19 downturns in the second quarter of the year,” read the report.
