In September, total industrial production decreased by 0.2 per cent in Lithuania.

Based on provisional data, in September 2024, industrial production totalled EUR 2.9 billion at current prices and, compared to August 2024, seasonally and calendar adjusted, decreased by 0.2 per cent at constant prices.

Over the month, seasonally and calendar adjusted, a decrease in production was observed for manufacture of other transport equipment – 30.1 per cent, repair and installation of machinery and equipment – 28 per cent, manufacture of refined petroleum products – 5.1 per cent, an increase in production was recorded for manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations – 2.8 times, manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products – 11.5 per cent, manufacture of basic metals – 7.5 per cent.

In September 2024, against September 2023, industrial production, calendar adjusted, increased by 3.4 per cent at constant prices.
