The Total Producer Price Index in Industry in Bulgaria rose by 0.4% in August 2024 compared to the previous month. An increase of 9.0% was registered in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, while the prices in the mining and quarrying industry fell by 1.9%, and in the manufacturing industry – by 1.7%.
The Producer Price Index on the Domestic Market increased by 1.0% in August 2024 compared to July 2024. The domestic prices rose in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 4.7%, while in the mining and quarrying industry they decreased by 3.2%, and in the manufacturing industry – by 0.9%.
The Total Producer Price Index went up by 1.5% in August 2024 compared to the same month in 2023. An increase was observed in the mining and quarrying industry – by 9.1%, and in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply – by 7.7%. There was a decline in prices in the manufacturing industry – by 0.7%.
The Producer Price Index on the Domestic Market increased by 1.9% compared to August 2023. A growth was reported in the mining and quarrying industry – by 14.3%, and in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply – by 5.4%. A decrease was observed in the manufacturing industry – by 1.3%.
