In April, total industrial production increased by 4 per cent in Lithuania

Based on provisional data, in April 2024, industrial production totalled EUR 2.9 billion at current prices and, compared to March 2024, seasonally and calendar adjusted, increased by 4 per cent at constant prices.

Over the month, seasonally and calendar adjusted, an increase in production was observed for manufacture of refined petroleum products – 40.6 per cent, other manufacturing – 17.8 per cent, manufacture of electrical equipment – 5.1 per cent, a decrease in production was recorded for manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations – 64.7 per cent, manufacture of chemicals and chemical products – 14 per cent, manufacture of beverages – 6.1 per cent.

In April 2024, against April 2023, industrial production, calendar adjusted, increased by 2.5 per cent at constant prices.
