Industrial production in the Republic of Serbia, in March 2024 was lower by 5.8% compared to the same month in 2023, and compared to the 2023 average was by 1.6% higher. Industrial production in the period January–March 2024 relative to the same period 2023, increased by 2.9%. Seasonally adjusted index in March 2024 compared to February 2024 shows an decrease of the total industry by 4.4% and decrease of 3.7% of the Manufacturing section.
Observed by sections, in March 2024, compared to March 2023, industrial production in the Mining and quarrying section increased by 6.1%, production in Manufacturing section decreased by 6.6%, and the production in the Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply section decreased by 8.0%.
