The Swiss investors’ sentiment index dropped by 10.2 points from the previous month to -37.8 in October 2023, marking the 20th consecutive negative reading. According to UBS, which collaborates with the CFA Society Switzerland to release the indicator, 92% of survey respondents anticipate no improvement in Swiss economic growth in the next six months. Meanwhile, the majority of analysts are expecting a slowdown in inflation and see no changes in policy rates for the upcoming six months. In the meantime, the current conditions index rose to 15.7 from 10.4 in September.
