Industrial production in the Republic of Serbia, in June 2023 was higher by 0.5% compared to the same month in 2022, and compared to the 2022 average was by 2.9% higher. Industrial production for the period January – June 2023 compared to the same period last year was by 1.7% higher. Seasonally adjusted index in June 2023 compared to May 2023 shows an increase of the total industry by 0.3% and increase of 1.1% of the Manufacturing section.
Observed by sections, in June 2023, compared to June 2022, industrial production in the Mining and quarrying section decreased by 13.4%, industrial production in Manufacturing stayed at the same level, and the production in the Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply section increased by 12.7%.
