The Period of Payment of Debts Restructured within the Scope of Law No. 7440 in Türkiye Continues

Depending on the decision taken, payments for debts restructured under the purview of Law No. 7440 may be made in full or in installments.

For those who prefer the cash payment option, the last day of the payment period is Monday, July 31, 2023.

Those who prefer to pay in installments must pay the first and second installments (the first and the second installments will be paid in the same time period, since the first installment payment period is extended by the President’s Decision) until 31 July 2023, Monday.

In order to continue to benefit from the restructuring provisions, the first two installments must be paid on time and in full.

It is possible to pay in installments less than the number of installments preferred during the application, and in this case, the amount to be paid is adjusted according to the relevant coefficient.

Although the installment payment option is preferred, the cash payment discount will be available if the entire amount is paid until 31/7/2023.

If all restructured debts are paid in advance until 31/7/2023, the coefficient will not be applied to the restructured debts, and

  • 90% DISCOUNT will be made from the amount calculated based on the Domestic Producer Price Index rates.
  • 25% DISCOUNT will be made from the actual administrative fines.
  • If the restructured debt is secondary receivable only, 50% DISCOUNT will be made from the calculated Domestic Producer Price Index amount.
  • 10% DISCOUNT will be made from the tax (excluding stamp duty) accrued as a result of the tax base or tax increase.
