Fewer registrations …
In September, the number of registrations in Slovenia decreased compared to August by 2.6%, and compared to September 2021 by 2.1%. Compared to the 2015 average it increased by 9.4%.
At the quarterly level, too, the movement in the number of registrations was comparable (compared to the previous quarter down by 4.9%, compared to September 2021 down by 1.6%, and compared to the 2015 average up by 10.8%).
At the quarterly level, the number decreased the most in accommodation and food service activities (by 17.0%) and at the annual level in transportation and storage (by 15.0%). Compared to the 2015 average, the number decreased the most in wholesale, and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (by 30.2%) and increased the most in construction and in education, health, social work, arts and other service activities (by 41.6% and 41.4%, respectively).
More bankruptcies …
In the observed month, there were 59.7% more bankruptcies than in August, but fewer than in September last year and the average of 2015 (by 29.8% and 24.5%, respectively).
In the 3rd quarter the number of bankruptcies decreased at all levels: quarterly by 16.8%, annually by 10.7% and compared to the 2015 average by 26.3%.
At all levels there were fewer bankruptcies in almost all activities with some exceptions. In wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles the number increased quarterly and compared to the same quarter of 2021 (by 3.9% and 12.8%, respectively). In transportations and storage, the number increased compared to the same quarter of 2021 and the average of 2015 (by 76.9% and 46.0%, respectively).
