The number of Industrial Capacity Reports in Türkiye approved in the first 10 months of 2022 increased by 8.4% compared to the same period last year.​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in October 2022 increased by 3.6% (166 units) compared to October 2021 (4,549 units) and reached 4,715 units.

The 4,715 capacity report approved in October; 1,365 were in İstanbul, 315 in Ankara, 313 in Bursa, 272 in İzmir, 210 in Konya, 165 in Gaziantep, 162 in Kocaeli, 117 in Adana, 114 in Tekirdağ and 106 in Manisa.

While the total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database was 84,177 in October 2021, it reached 94,284 units in October 2022 with an increase of 12% (10,107 units).

According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 9.6% (334,472 units) from 3,501,383 in October 2021 to 3,835,855 in October 2022.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
