Slovenia is investing more money in digital advertising, and this year will see a 15% increase in that investment. According to a survey on Slovenian companies’ attitudes about digital advertising in 2022 by pollsters iPROM and Valicon, an advertiser will invest on average EUR 546,000 in this sort of advertising.

Display advertising receives the largest funding, 31% of overall investment, or roughly 170,000 EUR per advertiser. 137,000 euros were spent on this kind of advertising last year.

About 20% of resources are used for social media advertising, while 15% are used for search engine marketing. Email marketing is less common (10 percent )

Nearly 70% of advertisers use display advertising and social media marketing, while just under 50% use email marketing and search engine marketing.

This year, the average advertiser’s advertising spend climbed by 14% to EUR 425,000.

All industries have seen a rise in expenditure in digital marketing, but tourism and health and beauty have seen the fastest increases. In the latter category, the typical investment will be little around EUR 1.3 million.

Only 12 percent of advertisers are reducing their advertising budget, while nearly half are increasing it.

194 Slovenian trend setters in the advertising industry participated in the poll, which was conducted between January and April by iPROM and Valicon.
