Türkiye’s passenger car and light commercial vehicle total market decreased by %12.0 compared to previous year, to 277,252 units.
• Passenger car sales went down by %13.6 in January-May 2022, compared to previous year, to 214,148 units while light commercial vehicle sales went down by %5.7 to 63,104 units.
Passenger car and light commercial vehicle market increased by %19.1, passenger car market increased by %20 and light commercial vehicle market increased by %15.7 in May 2022.
• Passenger car and light commercial vehicle market increased by %19.1 compared to May 2021, to 65,167 units.
• In May 2022, passenger car sales went up by %20 and were 51,750. Light commercial vehicle market increased by %15.7 and was 13,417 units.
• Passenger car and light commercial vehicle market, in comparison to the average 10-year May sales, showed a decrease of %1.9.
• Passenger car market, in comparison to the average 10-year May sales, showed an increase of %0.6.
• Light commercial vehicle market, in comparison to the average 10-year May sales showed a decrease of %10.4.
