Compared to general CPI, lower annual change observed in 7 main groups while 5 main groups were higher
The lowest annual increase was 11.89% in communication. Education with 22.24%, clothing and footwear with 26.87% and health with 32.86%, were the other main groups where low annual increases realized. On the other hand, transportation with 75.75%, furnishings and household equipment with 64.83% and food and non-alcoholic beverages with 64.47% were the main groups where high annual increases realized.

Compared to general CPI, lower monthly change observed in 8 main groups while 4 main groups were higher
In February 2022, clothing and footwear with 0.30%, alcoholic beverages and tobacco with 0.44% and housing with 1.49% were the main groups that indicated lowest monthly increase. On the other hand, food and non-alcoholic beverages with 8.41%, furnishings and household equipment with 7.00%, and health with 6.39% were the main groups where high monthly increases realized.

In February 2022, within average prices of 409 items in the index, the average prices of 53 items decreased and the average prices of 24 items remained unchanged while the average prices of 332 items increased.
The indicator for CPI having specified coverage (B) increased by 47.01% annually and 3.87% monthly
A rise in CPI excluding unprocessed food, energy, alcoholic beverages, tobacco and gold was realized in CPI (2003=100) on the previous month by 3.87%, on December of the previous year by 11.65%, on same month of the previous year by 47.01% and on the twelve months moving averages basis by 24.54% in February 2022.
