Chicken meat production was 172 thousand 439 tonnes, hen egg production was 1.7 billion units
Hen egg production decreased by 2%, number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 7.6%, chicken meat production decreased by 8.5%, and turkey meat production decreased by 29.7% in October compared with the same month of the previous year. Turkey meat production increased by 1.2%, chicken meat production decreased by 0.1%, number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 0.3%, and hen egg production decreased by 0.7% in January-October period compared with the same period of the previous year.
