Regarding the vehicle registrations in March, cars accounted for 60.1%, followed by motorcycles 16.7%, small trucks 13.4%, tractors 5.8%, trucks 2.0%, minibus 1.1%, bus 0.7% and special purpose vehicles 0.2%.
The number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 35.6% compared with the previous month
In March, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 48.8%, 35.1%, 34.4%, 34.3%, 31.1% and 19.0% for motorcycles, cars, tractors, minibuses, small trucks and trucks respectively, while it decreased by 10.7% and 7.1% for special purpose vehicles and buses.
The number of road motor vehicles registered increased by 22.8% compared with the same month of the previous year
In March, compared with the same month of the previous year, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 78.9%, 63.0%, 32.4%, 30.3%, 28.2% and 10.5% for tractors, trucks, cars, buses, small trucks and minibuses respectively, while it decreased by 27.3% and 13.7% for special purpose vehicles and motorcycles.
At the end of March, the total number of road motor vehicles registered reached 23 million 361 thousand 22
At the end of March, cars represented 54.1%, small trucks 16.4%, motorcycles 14.4%, tractors 8.2%, trucks 3.6%, minibuses 2.1%, buses 0.9% and special purpose vehicles 0.3% of total number of road motor vehicles registered.
720 thousand 25 road motor vehicles handed over in March
Among vehicles handed over(1) in March, cars accounted for 69.7% followed by small trucks 17.0%, motorcycles 4.8%, tractors 3.5%, trucks 2.4%, minibuses 2.0%, buses 0.5% and special purpose vehicles 0.1%.
In March, 43 thousand 300 cars were registered to the traffic
In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the new registered cars in March, Renault recorded 17.2%, Volkswagen 13.6%, Fiat 10.4%, Toyota 7.2%, Peugeot 6.4%, Opel 5.0%, Ford 4.8%, Dacia 3.9%, Hyundai 3.8%, Citroen 3.7%, Honda 3.3%, Skoda 3.0%, Mercedes-Benz 3.0%, Audi 2.4%, Seat 2.4%, BMW 2.0%, Kia 1.5%, Nissan 1.1%, Jeep 0.9%, Volvo 0.8% and the other trademarks 3.4% of the total.
In the period of January-March total road motor vehicles in traffic increased by 219 thousand 747
In January-March period compared to the same period of previous year, the number of registered vehicles increased by 38.0% and became 219 thousand 747 while the number of withdrawn road motor vehicles decreased by 73.5% and became 13 thousand 956. Hence, the increase in motor vehicles registered became 205 thousand 791.
In the period of January-March the ratio of cars registered using diesel was 45.5%
Among 141 thousand 354 cars registered in the period of January-March, the share of diesel-fuelled cars was 45.5% followed by gasoline-fuelled cars with 44.1%, LPG-fuelled cars with 7.3% and electric or hybrid cars with 3.1%. At the end of March, among 12 million 641 thousand 630 registered cars, the share of diesel-fuelled cars was 38.2% followed by LPG-fuelled cars with 37.2% and gasoline-fuelled cars with 24.1%. The share of electric or hybrid cars was 0.2% and the cars with unknown(2) fuel type was 0.3%.
Most frequent engine size was 1401-1500 for registered cars in the period of January-March
Within 141 thousand 354 cars registered to traffic in January-March period, 30.1% had 1401-1500, 28.6% of them had engine size 1501-1600, 20.4% had 1300 or less, 14.6% had 1301-1400, 5.3% had 1601-2000, 1.0% had 2001 and above.
In the period of January-March 73 thousand 846 of cars registered were white
Within 141 thousand 354 cars registered to traffic in January-March period, 52.2% of them were white, 23.9% were grey, 6.6% were red, 6.4% were black, 6.2% were blue, 1.7% were orange, 1.4% were brown, 0.9% were yellow, 0.2% were green and 0.3% were in other colours.
