Non-Domestic Producer Price Index, January 2020 in Turkey
Non-domestic producer price index (ND-PPI) increased by 9.53% annually and 2.39% monthly
ND-PPI (2010=100) increased by 2.39% monthly, by 2.39% on December of the previous year, by 9.53% on same month of the previous year and by 12.39% on the twelve months moving averages basis in January 2020.

Manufacturing increased by 9.43% annually
ND-PPI in two main sectors of industry increased by 13.66% for mining and quarrying, by 9.43% for manufacturing compared with the previous year.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 7.13% for intermediate goods, by 15.39% for durable consumer goods, by 9.29% for non-durable consumer goods, by 19.02% for energy, by 10.48% for capital goods, annually.

Manufacturing increased by 2.41% monthly
ND-PPI in two main sectors of industry increased by 1.37% for mining and quarrying, by 2.41% for manufacturing compared with the previous month.
The indices of main industrial groups; increased by 1.77% for intermediate goods, increased by 7.37% for durable consumer goods, increased by 1.58% for non-durable consumer goods, decreased by 0.62% for energy, increased by 2.96% for capital goods, monthly.

The lowest annual increase was in computer, electronic and optical products by 0.59%
The lowest rates of annual increase in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry were for computer, electronic and optical products by 0.59%, for printing and recording services by 3.24%, for basic metals by 4.99%. On the other hand the highest rates of annual increase in ND-PPI by sub divisions of industry were for coke and refined petroleum products by 19.02%, for other manufactured goods by 18.89%, for tobacco products by 17.39%.

The only monthly decrease was in coke and refined petroleum products by 0.62%
The only rate of monthly decrease in ND-PPI by subdivisions of industry was for coke and refined petroleum products by 0.62%. On the other hand the highest rates of monthly increase in ND-PPI by sub divisions of industry were electrical equipment n.e.c. by 6.97%, for other manufactured goods by 4.11%, for motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers by 3.83%.
