Chicken meat production was 184 thousand 349 tonnes, hen egg production was 1.7 billion units
Chicken meat production increased by 7.4%, number of the slaughtered chicken increased by 4.9%, hen egg production increased by 1.7%, and turkey meat production increased by 0.1% in December compared with the same month of the previous year. Hen egg production increased by 1.3%, chicken meat production decreased by 0.8%, number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 1.7%, and turkey meat production decreased by 14.2% in January-December period compared with the same period of the previous year.
According to the seasonally and calendar adjusted series; chicken meat production increased by 2% compared with the previous month. According to the calendar adjusted series chicken meat production increased by 4.5% compared with the same month of the previous year.
