Producer Price Index of Agricultural Products, November 2019 in Turkey
Agriculture- PPI increased by 1.76% in November
Producer price index of agricultural products (Agriculture – PPI), in November 2019, increased by 1.76% compared with the previous month, increased by 13.60% compared with December of the previous year, increased by 17.33% compared with the same month of the previous year and increased by 22.82% compared with twelve months averages.
Compared to the previous month; agriculture and hunting products increased by 1.85%, fishing increased by 1.60% and forestry products decreased by 2.60%.
The highest monthly increase was in perennial crops
Regarding monthly changes by main groups; perennial crops increased by 3.24%, non-perennial crops increased by 2.13% and live animals and animal products increased by 0.57%.
The vegetables from sub-agriculture groups increased by 3.30%
From sub-agriculture groups; there were increases for rice (in hulk) by 4.63%, for poultry, live and eggs by 1.78%, for pome fruits and stone fruits by 1.25%, for other farmed animals and animal products by 0.30% and for cereals (except rice), leguminous crops and oil seeds by 0.21%, however, there was a decrease for oleaginous fruits by 3.38%.
In November 2019, 90 items included in the Agriculture PPI; while 1 new items included this month, prices of 46 items increased, prices of 39 items decreased and prices of 4 items remained unchanged with respect to previous month.
