Marketable production of solid fuels was 100 thousand 496 tonnes for hard coal, 6 million 274 thousand 796 tonnes for lignite(1) and 372 thousand 874 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal in April 2019. For the same month, deliveries(2) were 2 million 181 thousand 557 tonnes for hard coal, 5 million 896 thousand 964 tonnes for lignite and 410 thousand 757 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal.
The lowest ratio of production to deliveries was in hard coal
The lowest ratio(3) of marketable production to deliveries was in hard coal by 4.6%. This ratio was 90.8% for coke derived from hard coal and 106.4% for lignite.

Hard coal and lignite were delivered mostly to the thermal power plants
Distribution of solid fuels according to breakdown of main delivery places was 51.7% to thermal power plants, 23% to coking plants, 7.9% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for hard coal whereas, 88.1% to thermal power plants, 8.6% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for lignite and 97.2% to iron and steel industry for coke derived from hard coal.
